Easy & Cheesy Homemade Lasagna

Easy, extra cheesy, and delicious. Homemade lasagna using Grandma’s Spaghetti Sauce or any pasta sauce you have in your pantry at home.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 recipe of Grandma's Spaghetti Sauce
OR
- 2 jars of spaghetti sauce (better to have extra sauce just in case!)
- 1 box of lasagna noodles
- (2) 8 oz bags of shredded mozzarella
- (1) 8 oz bag of shredded parmesan
- (1) 15 oz container of ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 2-3 cups of spinach
- Basil

Directions:
1. Boil 6 oz water in large stock pot, add lasagna noodles and cook 8 minutes to al dente.
2. Drain noodles, spray non-stick cooking spray on baking sheet, place drained noodles on baking sheet, set aside.
3. Grease bottom of large (9"x13") baking dish or two smaller baking dishes. 4. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
5. Start layering your lasagna: layer of sauce first (1.5-2 cups) layer of noodles, layer of sauce, 4-5 dollops of cottage cheese or ricotta cheese, spread sauce and cottage/ricotta cheese evenly. Layer of spinach, layer of mozzarella, layer of parmesan, and repeat!
6. When you put a layer of noodles ~1 in from the top of the baking dish this will be your last layer. For this layer put only sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and sprinkle some basil on top!
7. Cover and bake in the oven for 1 hr, if you would like a more crispy topping you can remove the aluminium foil 15 minutes before the lasagna is done.
8. Let cool and set for 5 mins.

Cut and enjoy!
